Development of Missing EQS and Revision of Existing Punjab Environment Quality Standards: World Bank Funded (Punjab Green Development Program, PGDP) under SP & IU, Government of the Punjab

Our team successfully developed a comprehensive framework for revising Punjab's Environmental Quality Standards, encompassing Ambient Air, Gaseous Emissions, Noise and Acoustic Exposure, Vehicular Emissions, Drinking Water, Waste Water, and Biomedical Hazardous Waste. In addition, we formulated the new standards for Surface Water, Soil, Treated Effluent and sludge for Horticultural Purposes, Noise and Vibration, and Solid Hazardous Waste Guidelines.

Our approach involved a thorough examination of comparative research and analysis, utilizing a wealth of data over three years. We conducted research and development based on primary and published secondary data, considering Health, Environmental, Social, Economic, and Legal aspects to establish evidence-based factual arguments for the necessary revisions, taking into account the current environmental conditions.

The project also entailed a meticulous review and drafting of Environmental Sampling Rules. To ensure a robust framework, we delved into International and regional laws, policies, regulations, and standards, conducting a detailed assessment of frameworks such as US-EPA, EU, WHO, UK, CDC, CPCB (India), China, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Iran. The completion of this project signifies our commitment to enhancing environmental standards through a comprehensive and globally informed approach.

World Bank Funded (Punjab City Program, PCP) under Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC)

Within the framework of the Punjab Cities Program, a project generously funded by the World Bank, our team assumed responsibility for the "Environmental Profiling of 16 Cities of Punjab." The central objective of this initiative was to strengthen the capacities of Punjab's cities, focusing on enhancing planning, resource management, and accountability systems. Furthermore, the project aimed to augment the Province of Punjab's ability to promptly and effectively respond to eligible crises. Our team played a pivotal role in the project's success by integrating environmental considerations seamlessly with the overarching goals of sustainability.

Green Pakistan Program: International Agencies Funded Government Project

Under the Green Pakistan Program, a project dedicated to the Reclamation and Development of Forest Areas and funded by various agencies, our team, led by Dr. Abdul Hafeez Nasir, successfully accomplished the project's goals. Taking charge of the initiative, we conducted comprehensive surveys, meticulously gathered and analyzed extensive data, and offered recommendations as an impartial third party to the Government Planning & Development Board. Governance Improvement of Megacities of the Punjab: A World Bank-Funded Project

Pak Green, in collaboration with a local government organization, has successfully executed the Environmental segment of the project titled "Governance Improvement of Megacities of the Punjab." This World Bank-funded initiative, led by Dr. Abdul Hafeez Nasir, tasked our team with scientifically testing and reporting environmental indicators over a five-year period. Our endeavors resulted in a meticulous environmental analysis accompanied by a set of evidence-based recommendations. As part of the Sustainable Eco-Tourism Program financed by the World Bank for the Sustainable Management of Ramsar sites, Pak Green served as a consultant, undertaking monitoring and reporting responsibilities for environmentally sustainable management at Ramsar wetland sites. Our team successfully completed the assigned tasks. Resettlement Action Plan for Rehabilitation: A World Bank-Fund

Under the Resettlement Action Plan for Rehabilitation, a World Bank-funded project, our team engaged in scientific methodologies encompassing surveys, data analysis, and reporting specifically pertaining to the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP). Our primary focus was on securing social justice and fostering sustainable development within the context of a substantial development project in a district of Punjab, Pakistan.

Wind Energy Project, Quaid-e- Azam wind Park, A world bank funded project

In the Quaid-e-Azam Wind Park project, financially supported by the World Bank, Pak Green TeamI took charge of leading the team responsible for conducting comprehensive environmental and social assessment studies. This pivotal role included the facilitation of extensive public consultations to gather diverse input and insights. The resulting report underwent rigorous scrutiny and approval processes from both the World Bank team and relevant environmental agencies, ultimately leading to the successful acquisition of an environmental permit by our proficient team.

Over a three-year period, we conducted thorough environmental monitoring at various sites within the Power Distribution network. The comprehensive assessment and study were dedicated to monitoring, testing, and reporting on environmental indicators. The primary objective was to assess environmental factors and deliver detailed reports to the implementing organization.

This environmental research was grounded in meticulous primary data collection, involving extensive testing for various environmental parameters such as Air Quality, Noise Profiling, and Ground and Drinking Water Sampling. Veloce E-Sports, UK

In pursuit of the Net Zero Carbon Target, we offered our services to Veloce E-Sports by assisting in the development, evaluation, and calculation of their carbon emissions. Our approach involved creating a comprehensive carbon footprint, aligned with the formulation of a carbon-cutting strategy. This process identified potential emissions stemming from the company's activities and thoroughly examined their net contribution to the greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory.

Drawing insights from these activities, we drafted a tailored plan to achieve the net zero carbon target for our client.
